The Underground Magazine
A peer-reviewed journal that publishes the work of students whose creative endeavors reflect the issues of representation (i.e. PCA, Film, Gender, Fine Arts, Art History, etc.). The goal of the journal is to create an outlet which allows St. Lawrence students to share the results of their work with the rest of the academic community.
St. Lawrence University Resources
Richard F. Brush Art Gallery
St. Lawrence University's on-campus art gallery has regular exhibitions throughout the school year. Named in recognition of the generosity of Richard F. Brush '52, the Gallery is an academic resource of St. Lawrence University. The mission of the gallery is to acquire, preserve, interpret, exhibit, and otherwise make accessible works of art for the benefit of a variety of audiences, in support of the educational goals of the University and for the benefit of the community at large.
Newell Center for Arts Technology
St. Lawrence University’s state-of-the-art, interdisciplinary arts technology facility, NCAT for short. Located in the Noble Center, the NCAT exists for two reasons: it meets the technological needs of the arts departments in teaching and learning; and it serves as a hub for collaborative, interdisciplinary efforts — both within the arts and across campus. The NCAT staff works with faculty, staff, and students to coordinate the necessary facilities, equipment, and training to explore the intersections among digital technologies and the arts.
