Study Abroad

We have been empowering students to study off campus for nearly 60 years, and now it’s your turn to stamp your educational passport in our classrooms around the globe. With more than 30 off-campus study opportunities in over 20 countries, as well as programs offered during each semester and throughout the summer, our Patti McGill Peterson Center for International and Intercultural Studies offers plenty of opportunities to expand your global perspective and understanding of the world.

Off-Campus Programs

Hands-on abroad experiences prepare you for global careers. Our off-campus study programs offer research, internship, or independent study opportunities in areas of your interest.

The University operates eight semester/year-long off-campus programs. Our programs foster deep cultural immersion, typically through homestays, language study, and course work before, during, and after the off-campus program.

In addition to our signature programs, we have partnered with other carefully-selected college and university programs in different regions. Some involve direct enrollment in foreign universities, and others are operated by U.S. colleges/universities or highly respected study abroad program providers.

In addition to our signature programs, we also have opportunities in:

  • London Spaces and UK Places: A Seminar in Social Science and Architecture
  • Place and Nationalism in Ireland
  • Neuroscience of Fear (Italy)
  • Health Care Delivery in Kenya
  • Himalayan Odyssey (Nepal)

A Global Education
