Recently, Dr. Mary Jane Smith was awarded the Emily Eaton Hepburn Women's Award for Creative Leadership. This award recognizes outstanding women faculty, staff or students in the University community who have created learning opportunities through imaginative leadership. Congratulations, Dr. Smith!
The History department invites you to congratulate the recipients of the Mallam Award: Outstanding Senior History Major, the Reiff Award: Outstanding Junior History Major, the Class of 1934 Award in History and also the Inger Jo Hanson Award in Volunteer Services.
On Sunday, May 19, the Class of 2024 will collect their diplomas and walk across the Commencement stage toward their shining futures—but they've already had some practice handling star power. St. Lawrence University announces its 2023-24 Moving-Up Day academic award winners, as well as Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa’s newest inductees.
St. Lawrence University's Pi Eta Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta inducted new lifetime members. Undergraduate students must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours (4 courses) in History, earned in the classroom, online or through AP or transfer credits (or a combination thereof). A minimum GPA of 3.1 in History and 3.0 GPA overall are required.
