An important aspect of our residential community is the compassion we have for each other. We want you to be happy and healthy and feel supported and safe while you’re here, and we’ve invested in the resources to make sure that happens.

Comprehensive Support for Every Student

We believe in a holistic approach to your well-being during your four years at St. Lawrence. We start by empowering you as an active partner in your health, and we’ll work with you across campus services to make sure your needs are being met. 

Through our Health Center, Counseling Services, and Safety and Security teams, we have resources and campus support available 24/7 to make sure you have what you need to be happy, healthy, and safe.

Located in the Diana B. Torrey ’82 Health and Counseling Center, our Health and Counseling Services can treat everything from chronic illness to common colds, emergency treatments to routine mental health and healthcare check-ups with comprehensive and confidential care.

As a JED campus, St. Lawrence is committed to supporting student's well-being and mental health. The Wellness Education Office provides students with the support they need. From stress reduction and resilience, to sleep and nutrition tips, our Wellness Education office team empowers students to practice self-care, tune into their needs, and employ tools and strategies to improve their mental health, physical health, and overall wellbeing.

Convenient Care

We can work with you to transfer your prescriptions to our health center on campus, another pharmacy in town, or continue service from your hometown provider. Your health is your choice.

Student Opportunities

Students play an active role in shaping opportunities for health, wellness, and safety at St. Lawrence. You can work as fitness instructors at the Stafford Fitness Center, serve as Safe Walk volunteers or trained emergency first-responders through SLU EMS, and create new clubs and organizations to fill the needs they see in our community. The opportunities for you to have an impact on our campus are endless.

Wellness Education
