Health, Wellness & Safety
Laurentians Look Out for Each Other
An important aspect of our residential community is the compassion we have for each other. We want you to be happy and healthy and feel supported and safe while you’re here, and we’ve invested in the resources to make sure that happens.
Comprehensive Support for Every Student
We believe in a holistic approach to your well-being during your four years at St. Lawrence. We start by empowering you as an active partner in your health, and we’ll work with you across campus services to make sure your needs are being met.
Through our Health Center, Counseling Services, and Safety and Security teams, we have resources and campus support available 24/7 to make sure you have what you need to be happy, healthy, and safe.
Located in the Diana B. Torrey ’82 Health and Counseling Center, our Health and Counseling Services can treat everything from chronic illness to common colds, emergency treatments to routine mental health and healthcare check-ups with comprehensive and confidential care.
As a JED campus, St. Lawrence is committed to supporting student's well-being and mental health. The Wellness Education Office provides students with the support they need. From stress reduction and resilience, to sleep and nutrition tips, our Wellness Education office team empowers students to practice self-care, tune into their needs, and employ tools and strategies to improve their mental health, physical health, and overall wellbeing.
Also located in the Diana B. Torrey ’82 Health and Counseling Center, Safety and Security is open 24/7 and maintains an active presence on campus to ensure you have a living and learning environment that is safe, supportive, and here for you.
Our award-winning Dining Services team takes great pride in their personalized, student-focused approach to serving delicious, nutritious, and allergy-friendly meals every day.
