St. Lawrence University will welcome Dan Buckley ’89, head of Marvel Comics and Franchise, as its 2026 Commencement speaker. The proud Laurentian and global entertainment innovator will also receive an honorary doctor of humane letters degree during the May 17 ceremony.

On Friday, April 24, student brilliance was on display for our festival of Science, Scholarship, and Creativity. Across campus, the St. Lawrence community came together to celebrate student research presentations, musical and dance performances, and the senior art exhibition. From One NCAA Champion to Another
Nick Lyndaker '26A two-time NCAA champion in the 1,500-meter run, Jukka Tammisuo ’87 set the standard for the St. Lawrence track and field program. The Saints current national champion. Nick Lyndaker ’26, who will defend his NCAA title in the mile this indoor season, reflects on his mentor’s journey, how it’s influenced his own, and how learning to “trust the kick” has helped him become a formidable competitor in DIII track and field.
