    Rocking a New Space for Geology Majors

    A major gift from Doug E. O’Brien ’75 and Kathryn K. O’Brien ’76 will transform the Geology Majors Room, which serves as an important central hub for geology students’ educational and social activities, alumni networking events, and academic work. The new space will be named the Dr. J. Mark Erickson Geology Majors Room in honor of their former professor, mentor, and friend.

    Saints Lacrosse Alums Faced Off in the Final Four and Scored a Victory for St. Lawrence

    On the day of the NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse semifinals, the stands in Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field were awash in Nittany Navy and Duke Blue. Amid the waves of nearly 33,000 Penn State and Duke fans were glimmers of scarlet—Laurentians who traveled to see two of their own face off on the national stage. Somewhere below the stadium seats, former teammates Chris Jordan ’22  and William Helm ’22 prepared to take the field.

    St. Lawrence Alum Powers Campus Climate Efforts with an Electric Gift

    A generous gift from Class of 1964 alum Harvey Meer has tripled the number of electric vehicle charging stations on campus, supports St. Lawrence’s sustainability goals, and furthers the University’s commitment to environmental stewardship.

    The New York Times has once again included St. Lawrence University in its most recent edition of the College Access Index, a list of the nation’s most selective universities ranked in order of economic diversity.
