Why did you choose SLU?

I chose SLU because of the community atmosphere.

What do you like most/enjoy most about SLU?

I am grateful that I can take part in all activities that I enjoy, like clubs, CBL, and be a participant on a sports team.

CBL courses taken:

Childhood Across Cultures with Adam Harr.

Why did you apply to be a CM:

I decided to become a CM because of how much I enjoyed being at my placement at Canton Daycare and knew I wanted to be a part of Community Based Learning.

Why should every student take a CBL course during their time at SLU?

CBL is such a unique and special program that few colleges have. We can connect our St. Lawrence county community with our St. Lawrence Community and that is one of the most valuable experiences SLU has ever given me.

Working as a CM during my time at St. Lawrence has been one of the most rewarding positions. I am able to have a connection to not only the university, but the community and students. CBL is a unique and incredible opportunity that all students at SLU should take advantage of! I am able to have a connection to not only the university, but the community and students.
