Mission: According to its website: Akwesasne Boys and Girls Club is a non-profit after school program serving community children ages 6 - 20 and their families since 2001. Our mission is "To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring community members" A Boys & Girls Club provides: a safe place to learn and grow; ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals; life and skill enhancing programs; character development experiences; hope and opportunity. Employees and volunteers of the Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club strive to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring individuals.
All employees and volunteers must pass a criminal reference background check and drug screening prior to working with children.
