In recognition of their outstanding accomplishments and enduring contributions to St. Lawrence University and the North Country community, Mike Ranger ’80, P’17, and Stephanie Ratcliffe P’13, ’16, will be honored during the Commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 18. From hands-on experiences to field trips exploring volcanic landscapes, Associate Professor of Geology Judith Nagel-Myers ignites curiosity and enthusiasm for the study of past, present, and future environments that are shaped by earth systems processes. Her teaching blends creativity, real-world applications, and a deep appreciation for student perspectives.
Ronnie Olesker brings creativity and energy to her teaching, blending her love of fantasy with her expertise in international relations and security studies. Her classes engage students in active, hands-on learning that inspires critical thinking and a deeper understanding of global politics.
St. Lawrence buzzed with excitement on Friday, April 25, as it celebrated student research presentations, musical and dance performances, as well as the senior art exhibition during the annual Festival of Science, Scholarship, and Creativity—a campus-wide tradition that began in 2014.
