Why did you choose SLU?

I chose SLU because of the many resources made available to the students and the community that SLU provides.

What do you like most/enjoy most about SLU?

The thing I enjoy most about SLU is the sense of community, it has so much heart.

CBL courses taken:

FYP: Impactful Leadership w/ CBL

Why did you apply to be a CM:

I had a great CM when I did a CBL class and they made the entire process easier for me. I want to do the same for other students as I am passionate about volunteering and love to work with people.

Why should every student take a CBL course during their time at SLU?

Everyone should take a CBL course during their time at SLU because it’s great for the community and you learn so much about the real-world!

As a new CM, I am most excited to help the broader Canton community and connect students who like to volunteer (like me) with new and exciting opportunities. I know that St. Lawrence County has high poverty rates so I want to focus on basic needs of Canton citizens (i.e. Food, Water, Heat) this semester. I will do this by fundraising, donating, and creating initiatives that provide aid to both the students of SLU and the people of St. Lawrence County.
