Over 1,500 alumni, families and friends visited campus for Laurentian Weekend 2023 from Friday, September 22 to Saturday, September 23. Over two days, guests enjoyed tours, poster presentations, induction ceremonies, musical performances, athletic contests, a Saturday evening meal to remember and much, much more. Thank you to our Campus Community, alumni, families, and lifelong friends for making it an unforgettable Laurentian weekend!

Please visit our Regional Accommodations website for lodging suggestions.  We encourage you to plan ahead by making your lodging accommodations as early as possible!   

As is tradition, Laurentians are welcome to bring a RV or Camper to Laurentian Weekend. To meet demand and provide a full picture of usage to necessary campus partners, you will complete official registration information for your vehicle when you register for the weekend.

The registration fee for the weekend is $50. If you do not pre-register your RV/Camper prior to the online pre-registration closed date and show up to the weekend with one, on-site registration will be $100. Security staff will be present during arrival times to help with parking and porta-potties will be available in addition to surrounding indoor restroom facilities. A reminder that there are no hookups available.

The earliest you can arrive and park is Thursday, September 19 at noon. Instructions on parking assignments will be communicated as the event draws closer. Check-In for the RV/Camper lots will close at 9 p.m. each night. Please be sure to bring a copy of your RV/Camper registration to present to our Safety & Security staff upon arrival to RV/Camper lot.

Ample parking is available throughout campus. Please avoid parking in designated Admissions spots in E Lot. A reminder that the Brewer Bookstore parking lot is for Bookstore customers only.

Fully recognizing that every individual’s situation is in flux—between COVID-19 concerns and cases, changing personal and professional situations, etc.—St. Lawrence’s goal is to make it easier for you to attend our Laurentian Events. As a result, we have implemented a risk-free registration policy during these uncertain times.

Refund Policy: Deadline to request a full refund or transfer your registration to a gift to the St. Lawrence Fund is the date and start time of the event. Cancelations for Laurentian Weekend must be received by 12:00 p.m. ET on September 20, 2024 and will be accepted in writing only. No-shows for the event will not receive a refund. Please send your cancellations to sluevents@stlawu.edu.

Current students do not need to be registered for Laurentian Weekend in order to attend events, including all athletic events. Students will be required to show their Student ID for free admission at Leckonby Stadium for the football game. Admission is free for all women's ice hockey games at Appleton Arena.

The 2023 Dining Information is below for your reference. Saturday night's Tastes of the North Country Dinner at 5:30 p.m. is included in the weekend registration fee. 

Our Dining Services team welcomes families to enjoy Dana To-Go meals throughout the weekend.  Please note, these hours may be subject to change. This includes:

  • Friday Lunch, 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. ($9.50/person)
  • Friday Dinner, 4:30 – 8 p.m. ($13.85/person)
  • Saturday Continental Breakfast, 7:30 – 10 a.m. ($7.40/person)
  • Saturday Brunch, 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. ($13.85/person)
  • Saturday Dinner, 4:30 – 8 p.m. ($9.50/person)
  • Sunday Continental Breakfast, 7:30 – 10 a.m. ($7.40/person)

Dana Dining Hall accepts both cash and credit. 
 

Guests in need of using a restroom are welcome to use campus buildings except Residence Halls.  Restrooms will be available in the Student Center, Augsbury and Newell, with porta-potties also outside the Brewer Bookstore.

The University reminds Laurentian Weekend guests that St. Lawrence is governed by New York State alcohol consumption laws. The state legal drinking age is 21. The University alcohol policy applies to students, faculty, staff, and guests of the University. It prohibits consumption of alcoholic beverages at public events including, but not limited to, films, lectures, athletic contests, and performances.
