The St. Lawrence University Alumni Executive Council is committed to listen and learn from one another. We hold ourselves accountable to best serve St. Lawrence’s community. In support of the University’s Statement on Diversity, AEC strives to be a community that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive, embracing the rich diversity that our members bring to us; a community which reflects the ever-evolving diversity of St. Lawrence student and alumni bodies. The Alumni Executive Council is elected to serve the University as ambassadors, advocates, and leaders, promoting the University's mission and points of pride, lending a voice to the stories that demonstrate the tenets of being a Laurentian for Life, and serving as a consulting body.

In 2019, with University support, the Council established a second endowment fund, The Power of Connections Endowment Fund, in conjunction with The Campaign for Every Laurentian Big Idea of the same name.

St. Lawrence University’s Alumni Executive Council has announced that William W. Dennett '68, M'74, Jeremy T. Smith '73 and Erica Silver Dahl '93 will receive Alumni Citations for their dedication and service to the Laurentian Community, while Christopher L. Bunting ’93 and Francis Chachu Ganya ’96 will receive the Sol Feinstone Award for Humanitarian Service.
“Laurentian for Life” Lisa Mazzola Cania M’82, P’07, was honored on Sept. 10 with the rededication of the Alumni Council Campus Room, on the third floor of the Sullivan Student Center, in her name.
In April 2023, St. Lawrence will celebrate 56 years of the Spain program by offering Laurentians an exclusive opportunity to learn about the diverse culinary traditions of the country. Participants will enjoy foods and wines from four different regions while learning about the changing cultures that make up Spain’s multicultural mosaic. The deposit deadline is October 1.
