Resources to Explore Health Careers

The resources below will help you better understand the tasks and responsibilities, training, and work environments related to a range of health care careers. Make note of the types of questions posed by these resources and ask them of the health care professionals you shadow.

Vault

Vault provides insights on what it’s really like to work within an industry or profession—and how to prepare for and build the career you want. You can access Vault through Career Services resources in Handshake: https://app.joinhandshake.com/articles/1568. Once you create a Vault SLU account by clicking on the Vault icon, you will have free access to a variety of materials. Most pertinent are the “guides” tab on the Vault home page, where you’ll find industry guides related to “Pharma &Healthcare.” Also, check out this resource: http://spotlightoncareers.org/ (see the Career Services Office to obtain the necessary password)
