Laurentian Weekend Registration:
We'd like to encourage every Laurentian to register for Laurentian Weekend 2020. Many events require a registration so Zoom links may be shared with attendees. Registration closes on Wednesday, October 14 at 12:00 p.m.
Friday, October 16
4:00 - 5:00 p.m. | Faculty Friday Webinar: "What is Algorithmic Literacy" with Allie Rowland, Maurer Associate Professor of Performance & Communication Arts. In this lecture, Dr. Allie Rowland will ask big questions about what it means to live in a world where algorithms determine what we read, watch, click, buy, and even who we date and how we vote. Registration Required.
5:00 p.m. premiere | Athletic Hall of Fame Announcement and Tom Fay Recognition: Check out the Saints Athletics Facebook page as we announce the next St. Lawrence University Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Class. Former baseball coach Tom Fay will be honored as a member of that class by former student-athletes and colleagues. 6:00 – 6:30 p.m. | ODK Induction (Seniors:) Members “tapped” in the spring of 2020 will be inducted into this national leadership society. Note that we are not permitting guests on campus at this time, but families are welcome to watch the live induction ceremony via Zoom. 8:30 - 10:00 p.m. | Evening Entertainment with Blaine Holcomb '14: Back by popular demand! Join country artist Blaine Holcomb '14 on the Alumni Association Facebook page as he performs new and old favorites as well as Blaine Holcomb originals.

10:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. | A Conversation with President Fox and Senior Staff: Join President Fox and Senior Staff for a question and answer session. Registration Required.
1:00 premiere | “Saints Archives: The 1982 Football Team”: While the ongoing pandemic is keeping current student-athletes from competing this fall, we will look back at one of the greatest seasons in St. Lawrence history: the undefeated 1982 football team. Former head football coach Andy Talley and All-Americans Keith Henry ’84 and Mark Ferrante ’83 will share their memories of the season, including the incredible 30-point rally in the NCAA Tournament to stun Wagner and advance to the national semifinals. 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. | All About Off-Campus Study Information Session with CIIS: The Center for International and Intercultural Studies (CIIS) staff will share everything you need to know in preparation for off-campus study, followed by breakout sessions for students to share their off-campus experiences.
