More space for more student collaborations
The University has made several upgrades to rooms in the Owen D. Young (ODY) Library. These renovations give students new spaces to study and collaborate on their academic work. The changes in ODY also provide an opportunity for donors to support our students and the University’s goals by making gifts that offset renovation costs. Donors can name these spaces after family members, mentors, friends or themselves.

‘The Yellow Pipe Room’ - $500,000

St. Lawrence has identified priority academic teaching and learning spaces that need renovation in the humanities, arts, social sciences, and sciences. Those spaces include flexible classroom spaces, lab/studio spaces and auditorium/lecture halls. Renovations include technology and furniture enhancements as well as structural changes, such as abatement, electrical and plumbing upgrades, as needed. A portion of each teaching and learning space gift will be placed in an endowment to support future needs, ensuring we are able to keep pace with evolving maintenance, design, and technology needs.
