Funding Options

Professional Conference Travel - To support faculty participation in professional meetings and conferences to develop their skills as scholars and teachers. 
Pedagogy Conference Travel- Funding for conferences focused on teaching methods and curriculum development. 
Small Grant Scholarly Development- Small Grants are designed to provide support to faculty as they pursue activities that will have a positive impact on their growth and development as scholars.
Instructional Mini-Grants- To support teaching by making funds available for activities and pedagogies that fall outside of departmental operating budgets
Faculty Research Fellowship Award (Large Grant)- These grant awards are intended to provide more significant financial support for faculty research and other scholarly projects. Large Grant application
External Grants: The Office of Corporate & Foundation (C&F) Relations assists faculty members secure external funding for their teaching and scholarly endeavors. 

Travel Reimbursement instructions

  • Use a travel card for all purchases. Request one here if needed.
  • After making a purchase, send your receipt and a screenshot of the transaction in CentreSuite to Tori Lampett, tlampett@stlawu.edu
  • For any out-of-pocket expenses, submit a completed Expense Report Form, along with receipts to Tori for reimbursement; these are not processed in CentreSuite.
