Summer Opportunities

A variety of institutions offer summer programs for undergraduate students interested in medicine or dentistry. Some of these programs have specific target audiences, such as rural students, minority students, or students who are interested in primary care, underserved populations, or family medicine.

The number of health professional schools with summer opportunities for undergraduate students keeps expanding. Looking at the student portion of your future professional association website (ie AAMC for future MDs, ADEA for future dentists) is one way to find relevant and exciting opportunities.
