Laurentian Singers
A select chamber choir of undergraduate student singers, the Laurentians continue an 80-year legacy of choral excellence, performing regularly throughout the year on campus, in the North Country, and nationally or internationally on tour during spring break each year. Their far-ranging repertoire is drawn from the entire span of classical traditions as well as world and popular idioms.
The Laurentian Singers typically perform for high-profile events on campus, including matriculation, convocation, and commencement.

In your audition, you’ll be led through a series of exercises to assess your vocal range. As part of a quartet with other members, you will also sing your part (S, A, T, or B) in the St. Lawrence University alma mater, which will be made available to you at the time you schedule your audition so that you may prepare it in advance.
Also, prepare sixteen bars of a song of your choice that demonstrates your vocal range.
Finally, you will be asked to sing a short sight-reading exercise.
For more information, or to schedule an audition, contact director Jonathan Burnett.
