New Employee Welcome

Welcome to St. Lawrence University! New employees must complete a number of forms before employment officially begins. We ask that you bring the completed forms to the Human Resources Office (Vilas Hall, ground floor) on your first day of work. Additionally, you should plan to attend some necessary meetings during your first week on the job. Below, you will find forms to complete, as well as some helpful information about working at St. Lawrence. If you have any questions or concerns, or if you need additional information, the staff in Human Resources will gladly assist you. The Human Resources Office is open daily, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

St. Lawrence ID Card & Parking Permit
Within 24 hours of completing your payroll paperwork, you may contact the Security & Safety office at (315) 229-5555 to set up a time to arrange for your photo I.D. and parking registration.  You will need to provide your license plate number for each vehicle registered. Computer and Network Access
The Office of Human Resources will inform Information Technology that you have completed your payroll paperwork and may have computer access (standard turn-around time is 24 hours).  Please contact the Information Technology Help Desk at (315) 229-5770 for assistance with initializing access.  For information about Information Technology click here.

Campus Map

Brewer Bookstore
While working at St. Lawrence, you receive a 15% discount on all books and a 10% discount on all other items at Brewer Bookstore.  To set up an account with the bookstore, please contact them directly at (315) 229-5460.

Community-Wide Account
This account allows you to purchase items, at a discounted rate, at most dining facilities.  You may also purchase from the vending machines and the Brewer Bookstore. For more information, contact the Business Office at (315) 229-5570.

Copying Services
Your employee I.D. card has been set up as a swipe card to access photocopiers on campus. There are operating instructions near each copier. For in-person training, contact Information Technology.
