Institutional Learning Outcomes

Institution-Wide Learning Outcomes

St. Lawrence's Institutional Learning Outcomes were developed by the University Assessment Committee to articulate our holistic learning outcomes for broader assessment purposes. Including both curricular and co-curricular outcomes, these institutional learning outcomes apply to our collective work, and it is not expected that any division or department will address all aspects. Instead, we encourage divisions, along with departments, offices, and programs to treat this document as a road map, considering how their specific learning goals map onto these institutional outcomes either directly or indirectly (as mediated through divisional goals, e.g. curricular goals for academic departments and programs) as appropriate.
