Arts Assessment

General Education Arts (ART) Assessment Spring 2021

In Spring 2021, 18 faculty members teaching courses designated as fulfilling the learning goals of our ARTS graduation requirement participated in a common rubric assessment.  Our curriculum requires students to complete at least one unit that meets our gen ed learning goals for the arts. Courses fulfilling the ART requirement have primary learning goals in which students develop:

a) Awareness of the process of artistic production through making works of art  (LG1) and/or an
b) Understanding of diverse ways to interpret and analyze works of art (LG2)

and courses may come from a broad variety of departments and programs.    Read more...
