President Kathryn A. Morris invites members of the 50th Reunion and the Honor Guard this distinctive event. After the reception and shared meal, the 50th Reunion classes will share remembrances and be inducted into the University’s Honor Guard.

*Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time*
Enjoy a spin on the roads of the North Country with an 18-mile bike ride paced for recreational cyclists and above. Participants must provide their own bike, helmet, and gear. No bike rentals available.

Special Collections Room, ODY Library
Artists’ Books are one of the most fascinating set of books within the SLU Libraries Rare Book Collection.  Special Collections and Archives Librarian Paul Doty will provide an overview of our Artists’ Books—books constructed to be free-standing works of art—and discuss their place in Book Arts and the history of printing.  There will be plenty of opportunity to examine the books first hand, and really get a sense of how they work as an artistic medium. Please no food or beverages at this presentation.

All Laurentians are invited to join members of the G. Atwood Manley Society for an afternoon luncheon and fellowship with one another. Hear from our newest Manley Award recipient as well as ruminations on St. Lawrence past and present – accompanied by a photo montage. The Manley Society is composed of more than 1,600 Laurentians who have generously made legacy gifts to the University.

Check out a canoe and enjoy a paddle on the Little River. Transportation is available at the Sullivan Student Center, or go out Park Street to the end of the sports fields, turn right on the gravel road just before the Little River bridge, and go about 100 yards to the Canoe Shack, a brown clapboard building on the river's edge.

1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. | The Evolution of the St. Lawrence Curriculum

St. Lawrence and its faculty are never standing still. Learn about St. Lawrence’s newest majors from the Vice President and Dean of Academic Affairs Karl Schonberg. These newest offerings, tailored to recruit and prepare students for their careers, include Finance, Digital Media and Film, Biomedical Sciences, Data Science, and Public Health.

In honor of the Laurentian Singers 75th anniversary, Former Laurentian Singer José Santelices Ormazábal ’17, professionally known as José Miguel, will give a recital of operatic favorites and Spanish songs. A tenor, he will sing selections from Verdi’s Rigoletto and Puccini’s La Boheme, tangos by Carlos Gardel and other selections.

You’re invited to the dedication of the Saddlemire Ski Suite, named in recognition of lead donors Trustee Emeritus Thomas ’70 and Connie Saddlemire ’70!  Learn more about the impact this space, including the Greg Needell Ski Equipment Room and the Gorman Study Room, will have for the Saints Alpine team.  The Suite is located behind Newell Field House.

Load up the buses!  It’s time to enjoy a throwback Boonie and Barn Party with classmates from 1970, 1971, and 1972 at The Stables in Potsdam, NY.  Buses run from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. from Vilas Hall, and will begin returning to campus following dinner.  Reunioners can dance the night away at the Boonie thanks to The Miner Street Band!

Tour the new Appleton Arena, including the Joe Marsh Men’s Hockey Team Suite, Women’s Hockey Suite, and the Michael “Buddy” Cornacchia ’74 Strength and Conditioning Center.  Guests will also see behind-the-scenes renderings for the Karpus Athletic Center, and hear how Appleton's renovation and expansion benefits all the Saints' varsity teams, the entire campus community, and the University's strategic priorities and brand. Attendees will also score a free Appleton Army t-shirt!

Come celebrate the Teacher Education Program on its 99th and final year of preparing New York State certified teachers.
