Frequently Asked Questions
The goal throughout Reunion Weekend 2022 will be to maintain the safety of our alumni, guests, staff, and student workers. The following guidelines will look to maintain this safety while providing a fun weekend for all.
Basic pre-event recommendations
• For the safety of our University and local communities, we recommend that all returning guests be fully vaccinated (including boosters when eligible). University staff will not be checking vaccination status on arrival for any guests.
• We recommend that all returning guests complete a PCR test or rapid antigen test before traveling to campus. University staff will not be checking for testing results or documentation on arrival for any guests.
During Reunion Weekend 2022
• Rapid test kits will be available for anyone who wants one at our Registration Center throughout the weekend.
• Registration will have masks and hand sanitizer available.
• All Hospitality Centers in the residence halls will have masks and hand sanitizer available. These areas will be cleaned each night by Reunion Weekend 2022 staff.
• Indoor events will have masks available at the entrances.
We recognize that returning guests may have varying comfortability levels and so ask that as a Laurentian community, we respect those who wish to remain masked during the weekend or at events where social distancing is harder to maintain. As noted we will look to have safety supplies (masks and hand sanitizer) available for personal use throughout the weekend.
*St. Lawrence will not provide quarantine space during Reunion Weekend 2022. If you begin to experience symptoms or if a self-administered rapid test comes back positive, we would ask that you return home.
These current guidelines are subject to change and may be influenced by State, local, and University expectations at the time of the event. Heightened expectations would be communicated via email to all registered guests and will also be noted here. Please check back closer to the event for any updates.

We recognize that you may be eager to come back to campus because of a cancelled in-person celebration in 2020 or 2021 (Classes of 2014, 2015, 2016, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2000, 2001, 2002, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1975, 1976 and 1977). On campus housing is available for all Reunion guests and on campus guests are housed in the same residential facility as those from their celebrating class or milestone. The rate is one flat fee of $65 per person (children stay free) no matter when you arrive on campus for the weekend. The housing fees are built into the listed prices on the registration forms, so you will not see a separate line charge for housing on your forms. Bed linens, a towel, a pillow, and a blanket are provided. Remember that these are residence halls and we encourage you to pack your comforts from home, such as:
• alarm clock
• blow dryer
• hand mirror
• small reading light
• shampoo and conditioner, etc.
• extra blanket and/or pillow
A limited number of family suites are available to those alumni who will be returning to campus with children. Each suite includes a kitchenette, common/living area, bathroom and multiple twin beds.
Housing is not available in current theme or Greek houses.
Off-campus lodging availability is limited and arrangements should be made independently. A list of regional accommodations can be viewed here: https://www.stlawu.edu/about/regional-accommodations.
Alumni are welcome to bring RVs to campus. As this has become an increasingly popular option, we’d like to get a sense of who will be utilizing this accommodation option for Reunion Weekend 2022. There is no cost to bring an RV. Please just note that you will be bringing an RV to campus on your registration form and the Office of Laurentian Engagement will be in touch with specific follow up information.
RVs are traditionally allowed to park in J lot. Based on demand, additional parking is available adjacent to Appleton Arena. Please know that there are no electrical hookups.
Guests who register individually are traditionally given their own room. If you are interested in having a specific individual be your roommate for the weekend, we ask that one person in the party complete the registration form and indicate the roommate as the guest of your party.
We attempt to house each milestone in the same residence hall. Family housing is available for people bringing back children.
Golf carts and vans are available on campus throughout the weekend to assist with transportation to and from dormitories and events. Round-robin shuttles are also available from the Best Western University Inn, Fairfield Inn, and the Holiday Inn Express throughout the weekend.
