What NON-science courses should I consider to prepare for dental school?

Music and art courses: Dentists need excellent manual dexterity to complete their work in the mouth. Courses in these areas can help develop that skill set.

Business courses including accounting and marketing: Many dentists go into private practice, and need to know about how to manage a business as well as how to treat dental conditions.

What resources do you recommend to help prepare for the DAT?

There are multiple resources and courses available to help you prepare for the DAT. It is definitely to your benefit to use professionally prepared materials (ie. DAT Destroyer) and begin your preparation during your junior fall semester.

Are there any special considerations for international students interested in applying to dental school?
