For the last century, the Candlelight Service has been a cornerstone of the St. Lawrence experience and the holiday season in the North Country. The service offers a pause for reflection before final exams and marks the end of the fall semester and the approaching turn of the calendar year. The service also signals the beginning of winter and the promise of longer daylight.
Psychology celebrates Fall 2021 Psi Chi Honorary Inductions
The St. Lawrence County Arts Council (SLC Arts) will be awarding $84,000 in grant funding, throughout Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties, to fund 2022 arts experiences. Through the New York State Council on the Arts’ State Community Regrants Program, grants are available to artists, collectives, local municipalities, public libraries, and non-profit organizations. Projects in any artistic field - music, visual arts, theater, dance, electronic media, film and literary arts, etc. - will be supported.
Starting Friday, April 8 through Sunday, April 10, 2022 SUNY New Paltz will host its fourth annual Undergraduate Art History Symposium. This year's event will be virtual, allowing for many more participants than an onsite symposium.
