Reunion Weekend Student Ambassador positions are only open to current St. Lawrence University undergraduate and graduate students, incoming St. Lawrence first-years and recent St. Lawrence graduates in the Class of 2024. 

Friday, March 29:  Applications Due at 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, April 9 to Friday, April 12: Interviews
Wednesday, April 17:  Applicants notified of a decision by the end of the day.

Available Positions:  

Please note, these are paid positions (rate is the same for each) and on-campus housing is provided Wednesday evening through Sunday morning (4 nights total).

Registration Center Assistant: Registration is an integral part of Reunion and is open throughout the weekend. In this position, you will be the first to meet and greet all alumni attending Reunion. Registration Center Assistants will serve as student hosts alongside staff and must be prepared to both welcome guests and handle questions regarding all Reunion needs in a professional manner.

Hospitality & Events Team Member:  Responsibilities for this position include setting up for various Reunion events and dinners, greeting guests at events and keeping track of an attendee list, and assisting with duties as needed throughout events.  Students should be prepared to not only check nametags, but also mingle and answer questions.  Team Members are responsible for maintaining and managing Hospitality Center stock and supplies.  Residence halls are available as lodging for alumni Thursday through Saturday nights.  The University provides each dorm with a Hospitality Center (the main dorm lounge) with refreshments and conveniences such as bed linens, blankets and towels. Students should be prepared to assist with alumni who wish to make use of Hospitality Center computers and should be familiar with dorm layout as well as other campus resources.

Transportation Assistant: (Valid Driver’s License Required) This position requires students who are responsible, extremely punctual, follow directions immediately, and are well versed on the layout of campus and Canton. Students will interact one-on-one with alumni during transports and must present the best face of the University at all times.
          Golf Cart Driver:  Provides transportation around campus
          On- & Off-Campus Van Driver:  Provides transportation to and from local hotels to events, and the Ogdensburg and Syracuse Airports
