After Hour Care:

Rochester Regional Health has partnered with the Diana B. Torrey Health and Counseling Center to offer virtual care daily from 7 am to 10 pm for a variety of non-emergency medical needs, including allergies, colds, congestion, mild asthma, rashes, sinus infections, sore throats, and stomach issues.

In addition to the Health Center’s current in-person services, students can now access virtual urgent care through their smartphone, tablet, or computer. During the appointment, a Rochester Regional Health provider will assess and, if needed, prescribe treatment or recommend further tests. Most swabs can be completed at the University’s Health Center, but any requested lab work may need to be completed at Canton Urgent Care or Potsdam Urgent Care.

We invite you to visit rochesterregional.org/urgentcare to learn more. Please note that these services are not free, and we strongly encourage you to check with your insurance provider to confirm that virtual care is included in your student’s existing plan at the onset of this semester.

For further assistance with accessing care, you can call (585) 922-TELE (8353), available daily from 7 am to 10 pm.
