Alessandro Giardino, Co-Chair of WLCM (World Languages, Cultures, and Media), Coordinator of European Studies and Associate Professor of Francophone and Italian Studies, was the Co-Chair and Co-Organizer of the conference "Voyage to Italy" held at the Sant’Anna Institute, Sorrento, Italy on July 10, 2021. Alessandro Giardino, Co-Chair of WLCM (World Languages, Cultures, and Media), Coordinator of European Studies and Associate Professor of Francophone and Italian Studies contributed with a short story to Here and Now: An Anthology of Queer Italian-Canadian Writing . The short story, titled "Micheal," is a stand-alone modified excerpt from his forthcoming novel.
