St. Lawrence was recently featured in North Country Now for collaborating with Stewart’s Shops on a new limited-edition ice cream flavor based on the University’s legendary chocolate chip “pub cookie,” which was unveiled at Appleton Arena in January during the Route 11 Rivalry.
The flavor name was selected by Stewart's President and SLU alum Gary Dake '82, who visited campus in December to hear pitches from students participating in a campus-wide contest. Connor Simons '28 made the winning pitch.

The University's storied Kenya Semester Program was recently featured in an article by NAFSA: Association of International Educators, which recognizes St. Lawrence’s comprehensive and unique partnership with Kenya—a partnership that spans academic, cultural, and scholarly domains.
