The Health and Counseling Center will be open to serve students approved to remain on campus, and those who live in the Canton area. Eligibility for on-site Health Services will stay in effect only for students who remain within St. Lawrence County. Counseling Services are now being offered through tele-counseling, as outlined below. Please call 315-229-5392 to schedule an appointment. If a student receives a positive confirmation of COVID from a medical source (doctor, hospital, Public Health), the student should notify Erin Casey, Clinical Director of Health Services. Erin will consult with Hagi Bradley, Vice President for Student Life, who will work to assure that the student has appropriate quarantine space and support.
Students residing on-campus/living in Canton area:
Health Services: Regular office hours (8:30AM-4:30PM) by appointment only.
Counseling Services: Call Mon-Fri between 8:30AM-4:30PM to schedule an appointment, or to be connected with a counselor for assistance during a crisis situation. Students residing in New York State (outside of the Canton area):
Students who are currently working with an SLU counselor may complete/continue counseling through the end of the academic year via phone or Zoom.
Students not currently working with an SLU counselor may call and request consultation/brief counseling to assist during this period of adjustment/transition, and for assistance with obtaining a local counselor/therapist. Please call 315-229-5392 to schedule a tele-counseling appointment.
