Give Permission to View a Shared Calendar in Outlook

New Outlook for Windows

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. On the left side of the screen, click the Calendar icon.
  3. On the left side, click the three dots next to the calendar you would like to share. The calendar will show underneath an email address.
  4. Click Sharing and Permissions.
  5. Enter the email address of the user you would like to share your calendar with.
  6. Select which details of the calendar they can view from the drop-down menu.
  7. Click Share.

Outlook for Web

  1. Navigate to outlook.office.com and sign in.
  2. Click the Calendar icon on the left side of the screen.
  3. Under My Calendars, right click on the calendar you would like to share. (You may need to first click on My Calendars to expand the list.)
  4. Click Sharing and Permissions.
  5. Enter the email address of the user you would like to share your calendar with.
  6. Select which details of the calendar they can view from the drop-down menu.
  7. Click Share.
