Thank you for your service, Veterans.

We honor all of our Laurentian veterans, and thank you for your service to our country.

We’d like to highlight a new collection featured in ODY Library containing photographs, letters, and other objects gathered by former university registrar and World War II Communications Officer Helen “Tommie” Whalen. In this role, Tommie corresponded on behalf of the University with Laurentians serving in the war, and later compiled a scrapbook. She also published “Tommie’s Newsletter” to share the location, status, and general news of those serving abroad – a sort of “Class Notes” for our military Laurentians. View photos and read more about this research on the St. Lawrence University Facebook.

News Digest is a weekly compilation of news releases and web feature stories created in the past week. It is released, generally, every Monday. Please submit news items from your department or news regarding student events and achievements using the University Communications content request form.
