Heritage Months

At St. Lawrence University, we strive to acknowledge and celebrate the various cultures that are represented in our community. Additionally, the observance of heritage months is an opportunity for us to highlight and honor the history and contributions of marginalized identities. We encourage everyone in our community to incorporate heritage months into their programming calendar as it is a chance not only for celebration, but for learning as well. If you would like us to include your event on our page, please fill out this form. We also encourage you to refer to our religious and spiritual holidays calendar when planning events.

Black History Month

All month: Laurentians for Equity, Equality and Diversity (LEED) shares profiles of black excellence via their Instagram page. A bulletin board in the Sullivan Student Center will also feature these profiles.
