On March 25th and 26th, along with Shirley Mills from Carleton University (Ottawa, ON), Meghan Chayka (Stathletes), Alison Lukan (Seattle Kraken) and St. Lawrence University's Professor Michael Schuckers organized the 2022 Ottawa Hockey Analytics Conference (#OTTHAC22). Over 300 people registered for the virtual conference which included talks and panels by some distinguished leaders in the field of Hockey Analytics. Video recordings of the conference sessions are available on the OTTHAC YouTube Channel and the slides from the presentations are available on the conference website: www.statsportsconsulting.com/otthac22. This is the seventh Ottawa Hockey Analytics Conference which has occurred yearly since 2015 with the exception of 2020. One of the highlights of the conference was the release of data for the 2nd Big Data Cup hackathon (www.stathletes.com/big-data-cup) which gives participants the opportunity to analyze cutting edge player tracking data from the 2022 Women's Olympic Ice Hockey Tournament along with data from other recent international tournaments.
