Cordelia Sherwood '26 Participates in McLaren Racing NEXT Program
Congratulations to Cordelia Sherwood'26 for being selected and participating in McLaren Racing’s NEXT Program.
In July, Cordelia joined 24 other women in STEM at the McLaren Technology Centre in London. Selected from nearly 600 applicants, Cordelia spent the week engaging with leaders from McLaren, Deloitte, Cisco, and Allwyn in sessions on leadership, sustainability, race strategy, and collaboration. A highlight of her experience was her team’s innovative project on using shape memory alloys embedded in carbon fiber to improve the longevity of the carbon fiber. The project won top honors and was presented to a panel of experts and industry leaders.
