— Verify the Dial Pad
- Open the Microsoft Teams desktop application or Teams mobile app.
- Click Calls and confirm that the dial pad is visible.
— Test Outbound Calling
- Place a call to another member within your department or the campus phone system.
- Place a call to an external phone number, such as your cell phone or another off-campus number.
— Test Inbound Calling
- Have a colleague call your Teams phone from within the organization.
- Call your Teams phone from an external number, such as your cell phone, and verify that the call rings through correctly.
— Verify Delegates
- If you plan to have a delegate, please set them up in Teams and confirm they are working as expected.
- If another user serves as your delegate, verify that they have the appropriate access and functionality.
— Verify Shared Lines and Call Queues
- If you use a shared department line or are a member of a call queue, confirm that you can access and use these features properly.
— Test Voicemail
- Confirm that you can access your voicemail.
- Verify that you can record or update your voicemail greeting.
- If applicable, confirm that you can access voicemail associated with a shared line or call queue.
— Run a Teams Test Call
- Use the Teams Make a Test Call feature to verify that your microphone, speakers, headset, and audio devices are configured correctly.
— Review Ringing and Audio Settings
- Confirm that your ringtone, ringing devices, and audio notification settings are configured according to your preferences.
