Canvas Intro for Students

Accessing Current Canvas Courses

Not all faculty use Canvas, and if they do, they may not make your Canvas course site available until the first day your class meets, or even at a later date.  If you don't have access to your Canvas course site when you expect you should, you may want to check first with your professor to confirm it is available.

If you add the course after the start of the semester, there can be delay of up to 24 hours before your registration adds you to your Canvas course site.  Your professor can add you to the Canvas course manually if you need access sooner.
