Last week Wellness Education sponsored the second annual Stress-Less Week, an initiative started by Active Minds, one of the leading nonprofits dedicated to promoting mental health among young adults. The campus-wide, week-long event included stress management tips, resources, and support through mindful programming: fireside chats with a counselor; managing academic stress with the Academic Advising team; Wellness Zones chair massages with a licensed massage therapist, crafting custom self-care kits; and of course, closing the week with Pet De-Stress.
