Weekend Wins for the Scarlet and BrownIt was a great weekend to be a Saint! The football team brought the Hoffman Cup back to Canton after securing a 30-19 win over Norwich on Saturday while men's soccer defeated Hartwick 3-2 after tying its program record with a 9-0 win over SUNY Canton last week. Women's soccer topped Farmingdale 1-0 to remain undefeated while Jackson Hamilton '23 won the Hamilton Short Course Invitational as Saints men's cross country secured the team title and Alli Sibold '24 won the 4k race to take the women's team to a victory. The men's tennis team wrapped up the St. Lawrence Fall Classic with sophomores Broderick Pinto, John Hill-Edgar, and Edvin Strandberg securing individual victories. St. Lawrence University celebrated the inauguration of Kathryn A. Morris as its 19th president at an installation ceremony held on campus Saturday, October 22. In her inaugural address, she outlined her vision for new initiatives to ensure the 166-year-old University continues to thrive while preparing students for lives of global impact far into the future.

George W. Karpus ’68 was honored during Laurentian Weekend 2022 for his prolific contributions to St. Lawrence University and its Division III athletics program.
