In Memory: Clarence "Bud" Randall

Dear Laurentian Friends:

We have lost another Laurentian retiree with the death on July 6 of Clarence "Bud" Randall, at age 100. Bud Randall retired from St. Lawrence in 1984 after 16 years of service.  His position at retirement was Vice President for Business Affairs, a position he held with integrity in challenging times.

A World War II veteran, he was a member of the 373rd Engineer Regiment. He attained 3 battle campaign stars and received the Meritorious Service Unit Plaque. After his service, Bud earned an accounting degree from Robert Morris University that served him well in his career including twice as a college vice president at Point Park and St. Lawrence University. A natural mathematician, Bud, an enrolled agent, did taxes through spring of 2020. Bud loved horses, was a mounted sheriff's deputy in Allegheny County and rode until he was 80.

We extend sincere condolences to Bud’s two daughters Pamela and Lori, and four sons, Clarence Jr., Paul, James, and Mark, their families and their friends.

Flowers or Donations (Clarence & Betty Randall Scholarship Fund) may be sent to Cross of Christ Lutheran Church 8131 Soule Road, Liverpool NY 13090 or Honor Flight Syracuse in his memory.
