Memories of Dave Smithers ’82

Dave worked in Rebert Hall when I lived there when I was a freshman in 2003. He was always so kind and calm. He would say hi to me every day and I am not sure I have ever met someone so genuine. After I graduated, he was my colleague for years, he always remembered me and while I didn't see him as often, I always got the genuine "hi" when I did. He was one of the good guys. I will miss him and appreciate that I was lucky to have known him.  Steve Millington '07, Information Technology
