The Crown Royalties Investment Club

Crown Royalties Investment Club (CRIC) is St. Lawrence University’s student run investment club. Our goal is to provide an educational environment for our members, while making sound investment decisions in the allocation of our portfolio. We meet each week to discuss recent financial news across all sectors of the economy, present educational material on the financial markets, as well as make changes to our portfolio, as seen fit by our members.

The organization, named after the late Herman Crown, was established in 1962 with a gift of $4,000 from the Arie and Ida Crown Memorial. Over 60 years later, the club continues to live out its original goal of providing students with the opportunity to manage a real portfolio of stocks among other assets, currently worth over $200,000.

Meetings are held Tuesdays at 8pm in the Bloomberg lab in ODY Library.
