Jeff Mogavero ’16
Jeff Mogavero was featured in an Instagram post by the athletic shoe and performance sportswear account “on” for completing the 2025 Western States 100 ultramarathon with a time of 14:30:11—the fastest debut in race history.
Mogavero, who studied conservation biology at St. Lawrence, runs professionally for On, and coaches runners as well. Learn more about him on his website.
Marc Isaacs ’93
Screenwriter and alumnus Marc Isaacs ’93 was featured in North Country Now for presenting a table read of his historical sports drama, EHMKE, in Jamestown, New York at the Robert H. Jackson Center on July 13.
Isaacs studied speech & theatre at St. Lawrence and went on to manage Potsdam’s Roxy Theatre before working various jobs in television and marketing. EHMKE tells the story of Major League pitcher-turned-inventor Howard Ehmke.
Kyle Flanagan ’13
Men’s hockey alumnus Kyle Flanagan ’13 was featured in North Country Now for being announced as the new Assistant Coach for the Skating Saints.
"Kyle was one of the most dominant players in college hockey during his time as a Skating Saint and widely regarded as one of the best in the country,” said Head Coach Brent Brekke.
Flanagan, who studied performance and communication arts, returns home to St. Lawrence where he served as a two-year captain and was part of a family legacy that included his brother, Sean Flanagan '11, and his uncle, Paul Flanagan '80 P'13.
Eric Collins ’91
Alumnus Eric Collins ’91, a new play-by-play commentator this upcoming season for the Charlotte Hornets NBA team, was featured in an article by EssentiallySports..
Collins, who went on to earn a master’s from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, has previously worked as an announcer on College Football for ABC and was the part-time voice of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
