Overview

ChemDraw is a software available to students at St. Lawrence University enrolled in Chemistry classes. It can be installed on a user's personal computer.

Installation Instructions

Mac Instructions

  1. Map the N drive to your computer.
  2. Open the N drive in Finder.
  3. Navigate to N:\Menu\SLU Network Menu\Software for Courses\Chemistry\ChemDraw 25.0.2\Mac
  4. Open cdPRI25.0.2.dmg and click to Agree to the license terms
  5. Drag the ChemDraw 25.0.2 icon to the Applications shortcut
  6. Open Applications and click the ChemDraw 25.0.2 icon
  7. When the Licensing window pops up, select Activate ChemOffice, ChemDraw Prime or Professional and click Continue
  8. In the Activate ChemDraw window, enter your name, Organization (St. Lawrence University), and email
  9. For Activation Code, enter 5450-BA2F-D186-0705
  10. Click Activate.
  11. You should see a message indicating a successful activation.
  12. Click OK

Windows Instructions

  1. Map the N drive to your computer.
  2. Open the N drive in File Explorer
  3. Navigate to N:\Menu\SLU Network Menu\Software for Courses\Chemistry\Chemdraw 25.0.2\
  4. Copy the Windows directory to your local Desktop and open the Windows folder from there
  5. Right click Install.exe and select Run as Adminstrator and answer Yes to the prompt
  6. Click Next
  7. Scroll down through the license text and accept the license terms and click Next
  8. Click Next, Next, and Install
  9. Click Finish
