Overview
ChemDraw is a software available to students at St. Lawrence University enrolled in Chemistry classes. It can be installed on a user's personal computer.
Installation Instructions
Mac Instructions
- Map the N drive to your computer.
- Open the N drive in Finder.
- Navigate to N:\Menu\SLU Network Menu\Software for Courses\Chemistry\ChemDraw 25.0.2\Mac
- Open cdPRI25.0.2.dmg and click to Agree to the license terms
- Drag the ChemDraw 25.0.2 icon to the Applications shortcut
- Open Applications and click the ChemDraw 25.0.2 icon
- When the Licensing window pops up, select Activate ChemOffice, ChemDraw Prime or Professional and click Continue
- In the Activate ChemDraw window, enter your name, Organization (St. Lawrence University), and email
- For Activation Code, enter 5450-BA2F-D186-0705
- Click Activate.
- You should see a message indicating a successful activation.
- Click OK
Windows Instructions
- Map the N drive to your computer.
- Open the N drive in File Explorer
- Navigate to N:\Menu\SLU Network Menu\Software for Courses\Chemistry\Chemdraw 25.0.2\
- Copy the Windows directory to your local Desktop and open the Windows folder from there
- Right click Install.exe and select Run as Adminstrator and answer Yes to the prompt
- Click Next
- Scroll down through the license text and accept the license terms and click Next
- Click Next, Next, and Install
Click Finish
