Adding OneNote Class Notebook to Canvas

In the Canvas course in which you want to add a OneNote Class Notebook:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Click Apps .
3. Search for OneNote Class Notebook and click the App when displayed in the results.
4. At the end of the description which appears, click to visit their Information Page
5. Under Get Started, click to Sign In
6. Once signed in, you will see a list of Your LMS Registrations
   • If you already have an LMS Registration, click View/Manage
   • If not, click Register a new LMS
     • Use the name "SLU Canvas - Production" and click Register
   • Leave this tab open as you will need to copy/paste the Consumer Key (similar to a username) and Shared Secret (similar to a password) in the next steps
7. Back in Canvas > Settings > Apps > (search again and select OneNote Class Notebook if necessary)
   • Click + Add App
   • Copy/paste the Consumer Key and Shared Secret you generated in the steps above 
   • Click Add App
   • Class Notebook will now be available in your course navigation (this may take a few minutes)
