Six Students Present at Prestigious Chemistry Conference

Six chemistry and biochemistry students attended and presented research at the National Organic Symposium conference this year held at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., from June 22-26.

Faculty members put their knowledge into action so students and others are able to benefit from it. Recently, faculty published articles in high-impact journals and received grants for cutting-edge research.

Spotted on Campus: SLUbubu 🫣

A tiny, cookie-loving creature dressed head-to-toe in St. Lawrence gear was recently spotted on campus. No one knows where the Slububu came from, but rumor has it he survives entirely on Pub Cookies and school spirit. On July 16, President Morris informed the Laurentian community about the passing of Julia "Julie" Regan, a longtime member of the University staff as an executive secretary. Remembered for her quick-witted humor and active participation in local organizations, Regan was beloved by her family, friends, colleagues and community. Read the full message here.
