Annual Martin Luther King Jr. ServiceThe theme ‘Give Hope A Chance’ echoed through soulful songs and readings during an uplifting evening in Gunnison Memorial Chapel where our community gathered for the annual Martin Luther King Jr. service led by Rev. Dr. Shaun Whitehead. Together, we honored and celebrated Dr. King’s legacy with performances by the St. Lawrence Choral Society, Community Gospel Choir & Gospel Band, Laurentian Singers, Singing Saints, Singing Sinners, and The Upbeats. Unitedly, we reflect on Dr. King’s words that inspire us to pursue a community rooted in love.
