    St. Lawrence University to Offer Peace Corps Prep Certificate Program

    St. Lawrence University has established a new partnership with the Peace Corps centered on an undergraduate certificate program that will combine targeted coursework with hands-on experiences and build the competencies needed for students to be strong Peace Corps volunteers or other intercultural fieldworkers.

    Visiting Assistant Professor’s New Book Explores Medieval Meanings of Water

    St. Lawrence University Visiting Professor of History Carolyn Twomey recently collaborated with Professor Daniel Anlezark of The University of Sydney to publish an interdisciplinary book on the ritual, cultural, and environmental history of water in the environment.

    A Conversation with NY Fed President John Williams: An Economic Outlook Presentation and Q & A
    Wednesday, Sept. 8;  1:15 - 2:00 p.m. 
    As part of a series of meetings to hear about and discuss regional economic issues, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York’s President and CEO, John C.     2021 Graduates Win Awards

    Three 2021 graduates recently won awards from their Senior Year Experience and Honors Thesis research on Northern New York's dairy industry, prison reform, and pastoralism and conservation in Kenya.

    Several teams kicked off their respective seasons this weekend. The men's and women's golf teams hit the links at the St. Lawrence Invitational on the Oliver D. Appleton Golf Course while Women's Tennis opened their 2021-22 season at the Mary Hosking Invitational hosted by William Smith. On Saturday, the men's and women's cross country teams emerged victorious in their meets against SUNY Plattsburgh, while Field Hockey defeated SUNY Oneonta, 5- 1. Women's Soccer and Men's Soccer swept the competition in both of their respective games this weekend. Visit SaintsAthletics.com
