Saints Shutout the CompetitionField Hockey: Senior Sydney LeClair opened the scoring and senior Caroline Hamilton netted the go-ahead goal as St. Lawrence used a second-half surge to earn a 2-1 Liberty League win over Union on Sunday at Hall-Leet Stadium. Senior Elizabeth Walsh posted 19 saves over the week, earning Liberty League Defensive Player of the Week honors. Women’s Soccer: Junior Sydney Keenan scored early and junior goalkeeper Zoe Davenport posted a clean sheet as St. Lawrence earned a 1–0 Liberty League road win over RIT. With nine league points, the Saints sit fifth, two points ahead of RIT and four ahead of Ithaca and RPI for the final playoff spot. Women’s Hockey: First collegiate goals from first-years Meghan Crowley and Brooke Mulvihill, plus an empty netter from graduate student Alexa Davis and a shutout by junior goalie Kassidy Lawrence, powered No. 14 St. Lawrence to a 3-0 win over RIT to earn a weekend split.
