  2. Federal Grant Supports Commitment to Student Mental Health and Well-Being

    St. Lawrence University has received a three-year, $287,061 grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to support its Comprehensive Care Network (CCN) Project. The project will use evidence-based approaches to improve the identification and treatment of at-risk students and expand access to services that address mental health, suicide prevention, and substance misuse.

  3. Next Chapter Ahead for SLU Combined Engineering Students

    This fall, four students in SLU’s Combined Engineering Program are heading to Columbia University, Clarkson University, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where they’ll specialize in everything from chemical to biomedical engineering.     Did you know there is a tree for every student on St. Lawrence University’s campus? And that roughly 48 acres of campus are designated no-mow zones to allow for a thriving ecology? And that, just last year, the University planted 89 additional trees around campus?
